Guyana’s Ministry of Tourism will be hosting a Toronto Diaspora Business and Tourism Forum for interested members of the Guyanese-Canadian Community on Friday May 19, 2017 commencing at 9:30 am. The Forum’s theme will be: “The Business of Homecoming – Tourism and Investment Opportunity for the Guyana Diaspora!”
The venue for the Forum will be the JC Banquet Hall, located at 1686 Ellesmere Rd, in Scarborough. Mr Donald Sinclair, Director General, Department of Tourism in Guyana’s Ministry of Business will be the Forum’s Main Presenter.
The Diaspora Business and Tourism Forum is being organised by the Department of Tourism in the Ministry of Business, Georgetown, Guyana. The event targets especially Guyanese-Canadians who are active in tourism, travel and business enterprises; Education, the Media, Sports, Culture and Entertainment; Social Work and other Diaspora-related activities. The forum seeks to stimulate thought and define Lines of Action aimed at enhancing the tourism and business aspects of homecoming of Guyanese-Canadians.
