At the age of 15, Cherry Khan emigrated from a small village in Guyana to her new home in Ontario, Canada. It was here that she graduated high school, and soon after found herself battling the financial hardships of a single mother of three kids. Going to whatever means necessary to support her small family, she began self-educating through books, self-help studies, government support and odd jobs.
In 1990, she took the leap into the Life Insurance industry and years later went on to work with World Marketing Alliance (now known as WFG) a company that offered Mutual Funds and Life Insurance products. Not too long after joining WFG, she launched the Global RESP as a new product for the company. Her skills and experience propelled her into the role of Trainer and Presenter for the company, allowing her the opportunity to teach and license over 3000 representatives Canada-wide.
Cherry used her business skills to open her own company, Flexible Capital Management Inc, which hired and provided 28 representatives with the training and knowledge to market products such as Segregated Funds, Life Insurance and tax planning strategies. Her experience in sales and marketing awarded her the opportunity to work alongside and be influenced by Jerry White and Franklin Covey. Through her endeavours she was also involved in bringing Tony Robbins, Bill Clinton and George Bush to Canada through The Power Within seminars.
Her financial success led her to invest in real estate, and she has since spent years buying and flipping homes while also acquiring her mortgage license to expand her business ventures. Using her innovation and experience in business, she used the two units she owned in The Pickering Village complex to build a quaint café called Jazzberry Tea House. After five years of successfully building the business from scratch, she sold it along with the property, and it continues to thrive today.
Cherry’s long journey to success drove her passion to help families across Canada overcome financial hardships and is the motivation behind launching her own credit repair business, here in Ontario. Having overcome the struggles of single-motherhood in a new country, Cherry hopes to use her knowledge and resources to offer the best financial solutions to families like her own.
